Happy Sunday! Just a reminder for everyone, that today is the last day to leave a comment on my Happy Mail post; for a chance to win an autographed copy of the new Tim Holtz Compendium of Curiosities Volume III book. I will draw the name tomorrow morning!
I can't have a post without something to share! Here's a tag I created:
I used Memory Box die, Lucienne Tile (98774) and Memory Box Floral Mask stencil (88525) here.
The stamps were from Tim Holtz (Nature Walk) and Stamper's Anonymous (Classics#16).
I inked my die-cut tag with Distress Squeezed Lemon ink, heat set it, then with my Ranger Embossing dabber, dabbed on and around the die cut area. I used a clear embossing powder, so this part acted as a resist. Then sprayed with Lindy's Starburst sprays Rusty Lantern Lime, Yellow Roses of Texas, and Ponderossa Pines Olive, using the stencil and stamps between layers. I let my tag dry a bit between each layer.
I did my stamping with Wendy Vecchi's Fern Green Archival ink. To finish off the tag, I added in some Petaloo flowers, Kaisercraft flowers, Prima Ribbon, patterned paper behind the die-cut area, and a few hand-cut leaves from my Kaisercraft Limelight patterned paper. I usually add another piece of cardstock or patterned paper to the back of my tags, to cover all the drips and mess!
Thanks for dropping by, and have a great day!
