Just sharing a quick and easy Halloween card! One of my favourite Sizzix Halloween dies is the Tim Holtz Decorative Strip die, Halloween Shadows. I love those little trick or treaters!
I just die-cut everything on the Halloween Shadows strip with black cardstock and the trick or treat words in orange also. The frame was die-cut from the Sizzix Fancy Rectangle Thinlit Frame and patterned paper. After adhering my frame to a piece of white cardstock, the black die-cuts were added. This was adhered to my matted card base. I added in embellishments from my paper collection, My Mind's Eye, "Frightful", a flower, and a few leaves and branches die cut from the Tim Holtz Autumn Gatherings Decorative Strip.
For the "Trick or Treat" I pop dotted the orange die-cut on top of the black one. Your card is finished!
I've spent the day putting out the rest of my fall and halloween decorations. I seem to be accumulating quite a few things, even though I don't buy any anymore. I guess it's because I've been busy creating every year! I think one of my favourite decorations that I've made is this ornament on a stand for the Sizzix blog. My tutorial is here:
Tomorrow is our Canadian Thanksgiving, hope all of you have a great day!
Thanks for stopping by,
Jan
